Dealing with a terminal illness can be confusing and difficult for you and your family. This season of life requires new decisions to be made which often evoke emotions and additional challenges. In addition, lifestyle changes and new living arrangements may be needed. The Medical Social Worker will be:
  • You are providing emotional support, counseling and guidance to you and your family in coping with stress related to the illness.
  • Identify community resources that are available to help you.
  • Assisting you and/or your family with planning for changes as your health declines.
  • ¬†Offering information about Advance Directives.
